NRCN has agreed to work in collaboration with the National Forest Authority to manage, conserve and protect Bugoma Central Forest Reserve. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife including but not limited to elephants, leopards, pangolins and apes. However, it is threatened by illegal logging, charcoal making and encroachment for agricultural land.
